Lima, Ohio - Christmas in July has become an annual tradition at The Meeting Place on Market. They transform the cafe into Santa’s Workshop and offer holiday favorite drinks and desserts such as peppermint mochas and kids' candy cane cocoas. Multiple partners for the community have joined the coffee shop in offering a fun day of activities for all ages. The schedule for the Christmas in July event on Friday, July 26th is 9 am - 2 pm.
Free activities include:
* CASA will be on site and will offer a free art activity for the kids.
* YesFM will be hosting fun activities.
* Johnny Appleseed park will be outside hosting an educational booth with some animal friends and more.
* Christmas cookie decorating for kids by The Meeting Place.
* The Lima Public Library is hosting a hands-on activity for the kids and story time at special times throughout the morning (9 am - 12 pm).
* Artspace Lima will be onsite with a fun art project for families to complete (10:30 am - 1 pm)
* Live Christmas music by the talented Veronica Mclaurine from Soldiers of Honor (11 am - 1 pm)
The cafe will feature Christmas coffees and desserts throughout the day, and holiday themed photo ops will be available.
