We were honored last night to be a finalist in the Women-Owned Business category for the US Chamber Dream Big Awards 2022!
Rachel (my daughter) and I traveled to Washington DC to attend the awards ceremony at the US Chamber of Commerce headquarters, which is located just across from the White House.

We took a quick trip to the Library of Congress across from the Capitol to appease our love for libraries. #nerdlife
That evening, we walked to the US Chamber of Commerce, which stands just across the street from the White House.
We joined other entrepreneurs from across the country for the awards ceremony, which was also live streamed...
...so that our team back in Lima, Ohio, along with family and friends, could watch the results in real-time. (Or was it just an excuse to get together for coffee?)
While we did not win the award, we were honored to be chosen as a finalist out of more than 3000 applications. We met some other great business owners and connected with US Chamber leaders. It was a great night! We were inspired by stories of our fellow finalists - such as a 15 year old bee keeper in Kentucky that we hope to buy honey from - and the women of Status Co. Leather Studio who make beautiful leather bags and products in Alabama - and many many more.
